Mateo
Curious, giggly, and into everything. Mateo is learning to talk at the same time you are. He points at whatever he sees and repeats the last word he heard.
"¡Mira!" means "Look!"
Sofía
Cheerful, a dreamer, always planning the next trip. Sofía lives for travel, music, photos, and her first love, Pablo.
"¡O sea!" is a very Spanish way of saying "I mean..."
Diego
Easygoing, funny, and a little lazy, because everything can wait until "luego." Football and video games come first; homework comes eventually.
"¡Qué guay!" means "How cool!"
Lucía
Warm, organized, always juggling everyone's schedule while quietly wishing for a little time of her own. Yoga and coffee with friends help.
"¿Dónde he puesto...?" means "Where did I put...?"
Miguel
Hardworking, dryly funny, dependable. Between deadlines, weekend repairs, and football, Miguel is always about to get to it.
"Ahora mismo" means "right now," though it rarely is.
Carmen
Loving but bossy, endlessly generous, the glue of the family. Big Sunday meals, secret recipes, and opinions about whether everyone is eating enough.
"¡Come, come, que estás muy flaco!" means "Eat, eat, you're too skinny!"
Antonio
Warm, stubborn, and endlessly nostalgic, a retired carpenter with a slightly exaggerated story for everything. His scenes are where you master talking about the past.
"En mis tiempos..." means "In my day..."
